Hey Folks passing along info on Queerbash and Sparkles this year! Its quoted from OutinUL's post on GiL...

Hi, hope you are well.

Out in UL, the University of limerick's LGBT society presents Queerbash / Sparkles. Queerbash is in its seventh year and is set to be bigger than ever. It's a major social event in the gay calandar in limerick and we want you to attend what is to be a fabulous weekend.

QUEERBASH 7:
Friday 26th March, Dolans Warehouse Limerick, link to location is attached below. The night starts at 10pm sharp with a show hosted by previous A.M.I. winner Sheila Fits-Patrick, guest appearances by Madonna Lucia, Fada, Terry tightass, U.L. dance society, and Very Angry Girls a.k.a. V.A.G. The show is followed by a D.J. to dance the night away. Costs €10. Tickets available on door and from the Out in UL society.


Sparkles 2:
Taking place in the University of Limerick on 27th March. It is a day of workshops and fun. Ohhhh and its FREE.
Workshops to include:

Coming out
Homophobia
Sexual health
Sexual empowerment
Drag
Trans
Fag Hag
Marriage Equality
Homosexuality and the bible, can you be gay and Christian?


The workshops are running approx from noon til half 5. Best of all they are FREE for all to attend.

Followed by a night in Riddlers bar with the A.M.L. winner Heidi Hotlips show. (A.M.L. winner 2009, A.M.I 2010 entrant)

They only cost €10 with a booking fee of €1. This covers entry in from 10pm, a fabulous show and DJ til close.
